The Casa Mindela Guesthouse is a small family-run hotel located at the heart of 50,000 acres of farm land and surrounded by fields and woods. The Casa Mindela is a well-preserved example of a 19th century agricultural house from the Portuguese province of Douro Litoral. The farm buildings and living quarters surround a sunny and sheltered central yard where harvests were collected and dried. The oldest building – the main house – dates from 1864 and features a rustic kitchen with a wooden fire and a huge chimney that lends a special touch to the harmonious architecture.

Casa Mindela has been recently refurbished and renovated to accommodate present-day comfort and well-being standards. Different accommodation options are available, as well as a venue for large events and spacious entertainment and leisure areas. The property is fully equipped with optical fibre, cable TV, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. An open-air swimming-pool will be available shortly.
